Dive Grenada, the longest established Scuba Diving Centre on Grenada, is owned by Mick Cull & Phil Saye. When we formed our business partnership on this idyllic Island in the Caribbean, our goal was very simple, to ensure that all of our customers have a truly wonderful diving experience, in surroundings that are both relaxed and fun but also very safe. The 'buzz' for the both of us is the 'big smile' that our customers have after a good dive with 'Dive Grenada'. We never forget that our customers are 'individuals' and with that, we will try and meet all their expectations by understanding their needs and being flexible in their diving and training schedules.
Phil Saye

has been co-owner of Dive Grenada for the last 3 years. In former life he enjoyed an illustrious career with the Royal Navy and dived extensively in far-flung corners of the globe including the Antarctic, the Maldives and Scapa Flow. His nickname ‘Fishy Phil’ was acquired during his UK diving days for the excessive amounts of spare time he spent in the water. He is passionate both about diving and the underwater world and committed to sharing this with as many people as he can. His patience as an Instructor and enthusiasm for getting novice divers wet is unsurpassed.
He is committed to raising awareness of marine environmental issues and enjoys an unrivalled knowledge of local marine life. More recently Phil founded the Grenada Marine Watch and established an online database to facilitate close monitoring of Grenada’s Marine environment.
Peter Lowe

is Dive Grenada’s main Instructor and brings a wealth of experience to the job. He has dived for more than 20 years and worked as an Instructor for the last decade. His approach to Instruction is carefully paced, safe, and extremely thorough but conducted in his own inimitably laid back manner.
He enjoys an effortless rapport with both novice divers and those looking to further their diving experience. He has considerable experience in teaching younger divers and particularly enjoys the challenge of containing the energy and enthusiasm of his junior divers (10 years and upwards).
Pete has fully adopted Grenada as his home having arrived with his wife 10 years ago, built his own house, and lived and worked here ever since.
Mick Cull
has been co-owner of Dive Grenada for more than 6 years. He spent the majority of his former years in the Merchant Navy and enjoyed a distinguished career with Cunard serving for many years on the QE2.
He continued his world traveling in the employment of a major generator company, settled for a time in the UK to run a successful dive centre on the English coast before finally putting down some firm roots here in Grenada. Fully qualified as Divemaster, Dive Equipment Maintenance Technician and with a good working knowledge of our boat, Mick enjoys a varied role between shop, boat and of course guiding beneath the waves. When relaxing, Mick is master of a good story (did you hear about the time he went diving with Paul Allen on MV Octopus?) and perpetually on a quest for Grenada’s finest Roti.
Gary
is Dive Grenada’s longest serving staff member. As a highly experienced Divemaster he has been expertly guiding our customers for more than 10 years.
He is infamous here at Dive Grenada for his musculature and the ability to dive without a weight belt. His local knowledge of the reefs and wrecks of Grenada is unsurpassed. He is a safe and entertaining guide and can almost guarantee sightings of rays, turtles and much sought after larger fish. Join him on his favourite dives which include a good drift along Whibble’s reef or exploring the Bianca C. Out of the water he will regale you match reports for Honvec Football Club (he is their star player), top sport fishing stories from the Atlantic Ocean and the time he dived with ZZ Top.
Captain Raphie
has been responsible for our boat for many years and his navigation skills are unsurpassed. He personally ensures the boat is safe, well maintained and spotlessly clean and takes immense pride in ensuring our customers are comfortable and correctly equipped for their dives. He guarantees an ‘up to the minute’ knowledge of the current score in any cricket match, has some excellent tips for fishing and is a great source of information on life in Grenada.
